In my case, this should be titled “Dear 12 year old me”. Melanoma is something for which we all need to watch. It can strike young or old and it moves incredibly quickly. My grandfather died of melanoma less than 3 weeks ago. Doctors didn’t identify the cancer until he was on his deathbed; there was never a chance for treatment.
